Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
An opportunity exists for an experienced Occupational Therapist to support students in a K-12 educational setting for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position is located in Dayton, OH, where the focus will be on delivering high-quality therapeutic services that promote student independence and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Occupational Therapist Certificate
- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Ohio Occupational Therapist License
- Valid Ohio drivers license and access to a motor vehicle
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to maneuver stairs unassisted
- Successfully pass a criminal background check
Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments as part of the multifactored evaluation process
- Assist in the development of Individualized Behavior Plans (IBPs)
- Implement goals and objectives from Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) related to occupational therapy
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student needs
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy services and outcomes
