Skilled Machine Operators - First & Third Shift | Wooster, OH
Are you a mechanically inclined professional looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment? We're seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our first and third shift teams in Wooster, OH.
This is not your typical button-pushing job - our machines require precision, skill, and a strong understanding of mechanical operations. If you thrive in a setting where your expertise makes a real impact, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Operating complex, non-CNC machinery in a production setting
- Ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process
- Collaborating with a dedicated team to meet production goals
Shifts Available:
First Shift:
- Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Thursday; 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Friday
- Occasional Saturday work based on machine workload
- Hours may vary depending on production needs
Third Shift:
- Hours: 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday night through Thursday night (10-hour shifts)
- Guaranteed no Saturday work unless requested
- Includes a 4-6 week training period on First Shift before transitioning to Third Shift
Pay Rate:
$16.50/hour
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Experience in machine operation, preferably in corrugated manufacturing
- Experience with companies like IP, Jamestown Container, Georgia Pacific, PCA, or similar
- A strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial equipment
