Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support two elementary buildings within a K-12 school setting in Groveport, OH. This role is ideal for an experienced professional eager to provide comprehensive psychological services to students from diverse backgrounds. The position offers a hybrid work structure, requiring onsite presence three days per week, with standard hours from 8:20 AM to 3:50 PM.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as case manager for Initial and Tri-annual Evaluations, ensuring all consent forms and planning are accurately completed.
- Conducting psychological evaluations and observations of students.
- Participating actively in Response to Intervention (RTI) meetings as a collaborative team member.
- Maintaining detailed documentation and records of assessments and interventions.
- Providing intervention strategies and support to students and educational teams.
- Managing Medicaid billing related to psychological services.
- Coordinating and leading meetings with parents, teachers, and school staff regarding student progress and needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure.
- Experience working with K-12 populations, preferably in elementary settings.
- Strong knowledge of evaluation procedures and case management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing processes is a plus.
This contract role is designed to span the full school year, with a transition period that includes overlap with the current School Psychologist until February 14 to facilitate smooth caseload transfer.
