We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team.
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license
- Minimum high school diploma, GED
- no experience needed but some preferred will teach on the job
- being on feet and being able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to climb a 26ft ladder
Work conditions
- You will be in the field, will have to work through rain and bad weather at time. Out of town travel is extremely rare.
Job expectations/tasks
- Monday through Friday hours can be slightly flexible due to nature of some work but 7:30-4:00 is your everyday expected
- Up to 6 weeks of on call a year.
- Be able to work alone and problem solve
- Operate a bucket truck and trailer in a safe and responsible manner
- Follow proper safety standards set by company and OSHA
- Prep, splice and build fiber optic cable networks
- perform OTDR and light verification testing
- Some coax splicing may be expected
- Performs jobs in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot problems while on site
- Install Fiber inside a building including coring building and running through customer ceilings
Pay
- To be determined by experience
- Hourly
- 40 hours expected with some overtime usually if it's desired
