Job DescriptionFiber Splicer position open We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team. Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>Valid drivers license</li>
<li>Minimum high school diploma, GED</li>
<li>no experience needed but some preferred will teach on the job</li>
<li>being on feet and being able to lift up to 50 pounds</li>
<li>Able to climb a 26ft ladder</li>
</ul>
Work conditions 
<ul>
<li>You will be in the field, will have to work through rain and bad weather at time. Out of town travel is extremely rare.</li>
</ul>
Job expectations/tasks 
<ul>
<li>Monday through Friday hours can be slightly flexible due to nature of some work but 7:30-4:00 is your everyday expected</li>
<li>Up to 6 weeks of on call a year.</li>
<li>Be able to work alone and problem solve</li>
<li>Operate a bucket truck and trailer in a safe and responsible manner</li>
<li>Follow proper safety standards set by company and OSHA</li>
<li>Prep, splice and build fiber optic cable networks</li>
<li>perform OTDR and light verification testing</li>
<li>Some coax splicing may be expected</li>
<li>Performs jobs in a timely manner</li>
<li>Troubleshoot problems while on site</li>
<li>Install Fiber inside a building including coring building and running through customer ceilings</li>
</ul>
Pay 
<ul>
<li>To be determined by experience</li>
<li>Hourly</li>
<li>40 hours expected with some overtime usually if it's desired</li>
</ul>
