Automotive Body Shop Porter Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Primary Responsibilities
- Have a complete stock of cleaning supplies accessible daily.
- Keep the shop clean and presentable at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop floor, parking areas, and customer drop-off zone.
- Mopping, sweeping, emptying trash, and other tasks when requested.
- Putting fuel in vehicles and assisting with other duties as needed.
- Assist technicians, other co-workers, and various departments when necessary.
- Move vehicles into and out of the shop safely and efficiently.
- Run various errands.
- Keep entry-ways presentable and clear of debris and snow.
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Inspect vehicles after repair for thoroughness checking for any issues that need addressing.
- Using diagnostic scanning tool to check for vehicle codes and consulting technician if found.
- Performing multi-point inspection.
- Cleaning vehicles after repairs have been made.
- Assist with vehicle pick-up and delivery as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to work Monday - Friday 9am-6pm.
- Consistent and reliable attendance.
- Physically able to perform assigned tasks (bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, walking, and standing for prolonged periods. Driving vehicles, and willing to work in all types of weather).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift 80 pounds.
- Consent to a background check and drug screening.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with less than 4 points and no history of reckless driving.
