Job Description Role Overview
Ensure CNC‑machined components meet customer specifications by performing in‑process inspections, validating documentation, and maintaining traceability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform frequent dimensional checks on parts using handheld measuring devices (calipers, micrometers).
- Complete and maintain in‑process inspection sheets; document all work accurately and consistently on appropriate records.
- Review travelers/routers for prior operation sign‑offs and verify part counts before initiating any manufacturing operation.
- Apply established procedures to preserve product ID & traceability across operations and documentation.
Core Competencies
- 3 Pan System understanding.
- Understanding of the line clearance process.
- Basic blueprint reading and the ability to interpret features for inspection.
- General use of shop math for measurements and tolerances.
- Familiarity with inspection equipment and procedures, including micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and go/no‑go gages and pins.

- High School Diploma.
