This contract position involves working with early childhood through high school students, providing essential speech and language services tailored to individual needs within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress.
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students from Pre-K through Grade 12.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and report findings.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development sessions.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in educational environments, preferably with early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school populations.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development across all grade levels (Pre-K through 12).
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, families, and school staff.
- Familiarity with developing individualized education programs (IEPs).
