Title: LAN Administrator – Remote with Local Travel (Akron/Canton/Cleveland, OH)

Location: Remote Occasional onsite visits in Akron, Canton, Cleveland. Equipment pickup

Experience Level: Mid-level (3–5 years).

Summary:
We’re seeking a proactive LAN Administrator to support our customers’ IT environments. You’ll work from home, providing Tier 2 support remotely, with occasional onsite visits for escalated issues. This role requires strong LAN administration, Windows/Active Directory skills, and the ability to troubleshoot networking hardware/software with confidence.

Must-Have Skills:

• LAN administration (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Windows support (desktop/server).
• Network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Active Directory administration.
• Experience with Cisco, SonicWall, Aruba hardware.
• Strong Tier 2 troubleshooting skills.
• Ticketing/documentation experience.
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft/Cisco/CompTIA certifications (MCSA, CCNA, Network+, Security+).
• Office 365 administration.
• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell).
• Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).

Don’t Apply If:

• You only have entry-level helpdesk experience.
• You lack LAN or network troubleshooting background.
• You cannot travel occasionally within Akron/Canton/Cleveland.
• You don’t have Active Directory or Windows administration experience.
