We are seeking a Construction Foreman to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. the Foreman should be able to direct, supervise and troubleshoot routine issues that occur on the job site. In addition to ensuring that safety rules are followed on the site at all times and developing work schedules based on employee and contractor availability, they are also responsible for:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear and procedures
- Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site inspectors, owners and other officials
- Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
- Setting up lasers for installing sewer lines and waterlines
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
- Underground Utility Experience
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
