A healthcare facility in Mentor, OH is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who have at least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and are licensed in Ohio or a compact state, ready to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
Key Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience At least 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments Active Ohio RN license or compact state license Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Strong ECG rhythm recognition skills; successful completion of assessments during orientation is required Willingness to work at least every other holiday as part of the schedule

Responsibilities: Deliver patient-centered care on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac telemetry and implementing prescribed treatment plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met Utilize hospital systems such as Qualivis and Lotus for accurate documentation of worked hours Adapt to rotating shifts that cover 12-hour day and night schedules, helping meet operational needs
Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (typical day shift: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM; night shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM) Shifts may rotate to meet hospital requirements, with preferences accommodated where possible
