Position: Ironworker
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Pay: $28–$32 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 45–55 hours per week, with some Saturdays
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Ironworkers to join our team for structural steel and metal building projects in the Cleveland area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience erecting steel, reading blueprints, and performing rigging operations safely and efficiently. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. You will be working closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Erect structural steel, install precast concrete panels, and assemble metal buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Cut, shape, and fabricate metal components using hand and power tools
- Operate cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment
- Install rigging systems and ensure safe lifting operations
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven ironworker experience
- Proficiency in metal building erection and rigging
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Strong knowledge of steel construction methods and materials
- Physical stamina for heavy labor in all weather conditions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- OSHA 10 or higher required
