Are you an experienced architect looking to take your career to the next level? ms consultants is seeking an Architect II to join our Building Systems team. In this role, you’ll collaborate directly with senior architects, engineers, technicians, and administrative staff, contributing to a wide range of projects. You’ll have hands-on responsibilities including design calculations, drafting, plan design, cost estimation, report preparation, and field work. This is an excellent opportunity to work across multiple projects and learn from a diverse team of professionals.

About the Building Systems Business Unit
Our Building Systems Business Unit provides architecture, engineering, and planning consulting services to a variety of commercial and public clients including financial, retail, restaurant, office, municipal and grocery. Project types range from multi-unit retail to schools, municipal facilities, fairgrounds, industrial sites, and urban redevelopment.
What You'll Do:
As an Architect II, your primary focus will be the technical production of plans, sections, elevations, and details across multiple project types.
Specific responsibilities include:

Producing technical architectural work using Revit, AutoCAD, and FormIt.

Applying technical knowledge of building design and construction techniques to support projects.

Managing production-related tasks in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), as well as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Assisting project team leaders to ensure alignment with client and technical design standards.

Creating high-quality documents and reviewing your work prior to peer review hand-offs.

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university.

Demonstrated professional experience in architecture.

Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Word, Outlook, Excel.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Experience working on technical project teams and coordinating with other service groups.

A creative, detail-oriented approach and willingness to learn office production workflows.
