Job Title: Quality Control Associate (Temp-to-Hire)

Position Overview
We are hiring a Quality Control Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on inspecting parts and materials to ensure they meet quality standards before moving through production or shipping. Strong performers may be considered for permanent placement.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on parts and finished products
- Use basic measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers
- Inspect first-piece, in-process, and final production runs
- Identify and document defects or non-conforming materials
- Remove and clearly label rejected product
- Accurately record inspection results and quality data
- Communicate issues to production leads or supervisors
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to read basic instructions and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Basic computer skills for data entry and tracking
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
