Senior Mechanical Engineer – Custom Automation
 
We’re seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of high-precision, custom automation systems. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking machines from concept through build and commissioning.
 
What You’ll Do
<ul>
<li>Lead mechanical design of automated machinery using SolidWorks</li>
<li>Develop concepts, models, drawings, and manufacturing-ready documentation</li>
<li>Collaborate with controls, electrical, and manufacturing teams</li>
<li>Perform engineering analysis (GD&amp;T, tolerances, materials, stress)</li>
<li>Support build, debug, and commissioning with hands-on problem solving</li>
<li>Mentor junior engineers and improve design standards</li>
</ul>
 
What You Bring
<ul>
<li>5+ years of mechanical design experience in custom automation or special machinery</li>
<li>Strong SolidWorks expertise and project leadership experience</li>
<li>Deep knowledge of mechanisms, pneumatics, machining, and fabrication</li>
<li>Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)</li>
