Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

• Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering First Aid and CPR when necessary.
• Document incidents and prepare reports as required.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when needed.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred.
• Certification in security or loss prevention is a plus.
• Military background is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Proficient in operating surveillance equipment and understanding security protocols.
• First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
