- Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract\n
- Start Date: January 19, 2026 (no alternate start dates)\n
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)\n
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed\n
- Schedule: Every 3rd weekend and 1 holiday (subject to census and staffing needs)\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

- Active RN license (Registered Nurse)\n
- BLS and ACLS certifications required\n
- Minimum 3 years of recent cardiac step-down experience, including heart cath recovery, cardiac drips, post-op open heart patients, and cardiac/med-surg step-down care\n
- Proficiency with Open-Heart, ventilators, and Epic EMR\n
- Ability to float to other hospital units as needed\n
\n\nPCU Nurse Responsibilities\n

- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the PCU, including open heart recovery, telemetry cardiac, and step-down units\n
- Monitor and manage cardiac drips, post-op open heart patients, and heart cath recovery\n
- Document patient care using Epic EMR\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes\n
- Float to other units during low volume or coverage needs\n
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations\n
