An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive support for K-12 students in a Columbus, Ohio school setting. This full-time, contract position is initially set from August 18, 2025, through November 3, 2025, with the likelihood of extension to cover the full school year. The role focuses on delivering speech-language services tailored to children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Key responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing both direct and indirect speech therapy services. Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is essential, as is proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) to effectively communicate with students.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Ohio state SLP license and Professional Pupil Service License or eligibility for emergency certification (requires superintendent approval)
• Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare, teletherapy, or school settings
• Ability to manage a caseload involving students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Familiarity with working with deaf or hard of hearing children and related communication technologies
