Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Superintendent to oversee and manage concrete construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all aspects of concrete construction projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure quality and accuracy
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including laborers and tradesmen
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for upper management
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control measures are adhered to
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods and practices
- Experience with flatwork, excavating, earthwork, and underground utilities is a plus
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
