Full-Time or Part-Time | Flexible Scheduling

This fall, brighten lives and build connections with a career that matters. Kingston of Vermilion is hiring Activity Assistants to help design and lead engaging programs that bring joy, connection, and purpose to our residents in Skilled Nursing and Senior Care. From seasonal crafts and music to games, exercise groups, and one-on-one visits, you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.

What You’ll Do

• Plan, coordinate, and lead daily activities and special events for residents

• Encourage resident participation in recreational, educational, and social programs

• Provide one-on-one support for residents who need extra encouragement or individualized attention

• Assist in organizing seasonal programs and holiday celebrations that keep the community lively and connected

• Maintain supplies, activity areas, and accurate participation records

• Collaborate with the Activities Director and care team to ensure activities meet resident needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience in activities, recreation, or senior care preferred, but training will be provided

• Energetic, creative, and enthusiastic personality

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented approach

• Ability to adapt activities to different levels of ability and interest
