Unity and Engagement Learning Development Facilitator
Location: Akron, OH
PrideStaff is assisting a client in Akron in identifying a Unity & Engagement Learning Development Facilitator to support learning initiatives focused on fostering an inclusive and engaged workplace. This part-time (20hrs/week) , onsite role will be responsible for delivering high-quality training experiences that promote unity, equity, inclusion, and awareness across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Unity & Engagement training sessions (in-person and/or virtual) using provided curriculum, materials, and guidelines
- Create an inclusive and respectful learning environment that encourages participation and dialogue
- Adapt facilitation techniques to meet the needs of diverse learners and professional roles
- Review training content and stay up to date on updates provided by the Unity & Engagement department
- Attend orientation and train-the-trainer sessions as required
- Coordinate with program staff regarding scheduling, logistics, and participant communication
- Collect and submit attendance and participant feedback
- Provide input on training effectiveness, participant engagement, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop learning tools to evaluate and assess training impact and recommend modifications as needed
- Design and track metrics to measure effectiveness of training on the workforce
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- Training, development or coaching around inclusion certifications preferred
- 3+yrs relevant experience
- Strong understanding of current learning & development trends and tools that support inclusion and belonging
- Knowledge of topics related to belonging and inclusion, cultural awareness, and psychological safety
- Proficiency in MS Office
