This role will support product engineering, respectively product application, maintenance, product improvement and cost reduction activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts tests onprototypes and finished products to ensure they meet design specifications.
Performs dynamometerlab or field tests, collects data, analyzes, and presents the results.
Builds products orprototypes for testing and evaluation purposes.
Troubleshoots andanalyzes product failures to determine the root cause and recommendssolutions.
Under engineeringsupervision, investigates and determines technical solutions for product issuesrelated to design, manufacturing, testing and quality.
Leads projects managingdeadlines, ensuring the projects are completed on time and within budget.
Prepare technicalreports and present findings to stakeholders (internal/external)
Works with teamsacross the company, sales, quality, production, accounting to support the productline.
Installs, operates,and maintains engineering equipment and software.
Supports customerrequests and inquiries when needed.
Performs any otherrelated duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:Minimum of 5 years in product engineering or development environmentrelated to heavy-duty equipment or powertrain applications. Basicknowledge of internal combustion engines is desired but not mandatory.
Education:Associate's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentexperience.
Technical Expertise:Hands-on experience working in product development, testing, quality, andmanufacturing areas.
Project Management:Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring adherenceto timelines. Familiarity with process improvement tools and root causeanalysis techniques.
SolidWorks:Proficiency in SolidWorks
Microsoft Office:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication.
Problem-SolvingSkills: Ability to apply technical/engineering knowledge and conceptsto solve practical problems.
Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability toeffectively collaborate with team members, vendors, and customers.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, vendor visits, or testing activities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Primarily office work,with occasional physical activity required for testing in the lab orhandling product samples.
Regular communicationvia email and phone.
Alternating between standing and sittingthroughout the day
Clarity of vision both near and far(includes use of computers)
Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, orotherwise working with the hand(s)
