Oar Staffing is conducting a search for a Field Service Tech for a manufacturing client in Akron.
This is a DIRECT HIRE $22.00 - $33.00 DOE
THIS POSITION REQUIRES NATIONWIDE TRAVEL 90% OF THE TIME
HOME ON WEEKENDS
Details about the Opportunity:
- Analyze, evaluate, and diagnose technical problems
- Identify and repair issues in electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical systems
- Installing and maintaining electronic hardware such as electric strikes, door hardware, and related systems
- Blueprints
- Schematics
- Electrical - 220V 3phase
- Electronic -solder, brazing or other fine mechanical application
- Ability to travel overnight for consecutive days as needed to repair, fix, install, and test equipment.
- Set up and troubleshoot basic network connections.
- Two-year technical degree or apprenticeship program or equivalent in a technical or military field.
