Open Heart Advocates is a group home service provider that assists individuals with developmental disabilities. We are dedicated to helping our clients lead dignified, independent lifestyles in the comfort and safety of their assisted home setting by carefully assessing and fully understanding their needs and selectively placing trained personnel to meet these needs.

Direct Support Professionals help clients with everyday activities and assisting with building life-long skills and goals. Supervisors will be responsible for the daily operations in the home and other essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Responsible for assuring clients are covered by DSP staff members at all times.
• Transporting clients to and from activities, doctor appointments, etc.
• Medication dispensing
• Meal preparation
• Bathing and personal care
• Household chores
• Serving as a companion to clients
• Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills
• The ability to provide care across a variety of settings, including group homes and day service programs
• Must have a valid driver's license and car insurance

Pay: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
