Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized team member to support our production team with the completion of rough electrical install drawings for new homes. This role plays a critical part in gathering and organizing documents, liaising with builder supervisors, and ensuring that rough install drawings are completed in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining clear communication with various teams involved in the preconstruction process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather necessary documents and information to aid in the completion of rough install drawings.
- Communicate regularly with Builder Supervisors to identify and obtain missing information or documents necessary to complete drawings.
- Relay and receive information from the production team regarding factors affecting the home during rough electrical installation.
- Assist in coordinating materials required for rough electrical installation, ensuring that all necessary supplies are identified, ordered, and ready for the install.
- Organize and maintain key documents related to preconstruction processes.
- Utilize builder-provided documents and Adobe Illustrator to complete electrical install drawings. These drawings will include wire sizing, homeowner-selected electrical options, materials used during rough installation, and any community/inspection area-specific notes.
- Monitor city schedules to ensure timely completion of drawings for next-day rough installation.
- Provide accurate slab drawings to ensure the necessary preparations are made for electrical installations.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential construction or preconstruction support is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or similar design software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with builder supervisors and production teams.
- Experience managing timelines and schedules.
- Familiarity with electrical work and terminology is a plus, though not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative to learn.
