Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A high school is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to support 24 students in a full inclusion setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive special education services in a high school environment located in Perrysburg, OH. The position is for the current school year (CSY) and requires a professional dedicated to fostering the growth and development of students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver full scope special education services aligned with individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers to maintain a fully inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and manage student data diligently to track progress and inform instructional decisions.
• Develop, implement, and adjust strategies to support student goals, ensuring continuous progress.
• Maintain open communication with students, families, and school staff to support students academic and behavioral success.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience managing special education programs within a high school setting.
• Strong ability to operate in a full inclusion classroom and collaborate with general education staff.
• Proven skills in student data management and progress monitoring.
• Experience with virtual or hybrid teaching methods is highly desirable.
