Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced licensed Mental Health Therapist (LISW, LPCC, LPC, LSW) to provide in-person counseling services to children and adolescents (ages 018). Services will be delivered in a school setting and/or at our outpatient office. This is a contract position ideal for a clinician who is confident working independently and passionate about pediatric mental health.
Please note: We are only accepting fully licensed professionals (LISW or LPCC). Supervision toward independent licensure is not provided for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments for youth
- Provide evidence-based, developmentally appropriate therapy (CBT, DBT, Play Therapy, etc.)
- Collaborate with families, schools, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated care
- Conduct risk assessments and crisis interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR (SimplePractice preferred)
- Participate in team communication and case coordination as appropriate
Technical Expertise:
- Pediatric and school-based clinical experience preferred
- Proficient in using EMR systems (SimplePractice a plus)
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or related behavioral health field
- Active LISW, LPCC, LPC, LSW license in the state of Ohio (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children, teens, and families preferred
- Strong ability to work independently in both clinical and school settings
