Job Description
We are seeking a diligent Lab Technician who will be responsible for quality control testing on finished product material and incoming raw material. The role involves conducting various tests to ensure the integrity and quality of our products.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control tests on finished products and incoming raw materials.
- Conduct tests such as titrations, refractive index, viscosity, and sand testing.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments including auto titrator, refractive index equipment, and gas chromatography.
- Assist with the preparation of certificates of analysis and manage data entry tasks.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in chemistry, biology, and physics.
- Experience with laboratory procedures and sample testing.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles.
- Ability to perform titrations and measure viscosity and refractive index.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a science field such as chemistry, physics, biology, forensic science, biochemistry, or a related discipline.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player.
Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility, specifically within the quality lab. The role requires working on the 2nd shift, from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
