Established equipment manufacturer is hiring a Project Engineer to join their project management team. The Project Engineer will work within a team of project managers and operations professionals to complete multiple projects on time and within budget. Daily you will report to a Project Team Lead. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage and lead up to 20 projects at a time at various stages of the process
- Communicate as the liaison between production and customers on the status of projects
- Oversee budgets and manage timelines of multiple projects
- Forecast projects and communicate and document changes internally and externally
- Ensure that inspection and verification of equipment meets the scope of the customer project
- Negotiate change orders, project terms, scheduling etc. with customers and operations
- Update customers on the status of projects and hold them accountable to the project scope or educate them on additional costs of the project
- Complete all project documentation and attend project meetings with sales and engineering
- Oversee equipment installs and assist with oversight of final inspection
- Represent the company in a professional manner that will foster and build client relationships
- Other duties as directed by management

REQUIREMENTS for the Project Engineer:
1. Minimum of a high school diploma; additional post education is preferred
2. Ideally two years in a similar project engineering position
3. Experience managing CapEx projects in general manufacturing or at an OEM (original equipment manufacturer)
4. Experience overseeing project timelines and budgets
5. Experience reading blueprints and drawings
6. Mechanical aptitude
7. Microsoft Office
Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. ERP experience
2. Skilled trades background
3. Working knowledge of PLCs
4. Fabrication or paint background
