Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU role in Ohio, requiring an OH or compact RN license and strong ICU skills.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a hospital-based Critical Care Float Pool covering various ICUs, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU
- Float to different units based on staffing needs and patient acuity, with floating required to units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM on weekends
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- Nurses are expected to adapt quickly to different intensive care environments and patient populations as needed
- Role involves providing high acuity nursing care in multiple critical care settings
- RTO will be accepted for dates between 2/15/26 and 2/28/26
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Must have experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
