Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a structured and supportive learning environment. This role focuses on providing individualized instruction to students with multiple disabilities while working closely with a collaborative educational team to promote student growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide special education instruction to elementary-aged students, primarily at the kindergarten level

Manage a small caseload of approximately 8 students with varying grade levels

Support students with multiple disabilities through individualized instruction and accommodations

Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers

Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed

Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with special education requirements
Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education

Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license

Prior experience working with elementary students preferred

Experience supporting students with multiple disabilities preferred

Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
