Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A nursing professional with expertise in operating room technology is needed to support specialized surgical services in Elyria, OH. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical call rotations while providing essential coverage for daily staffing needs across various service lines when specialized cases are not scheduled.

Responsibilities:
- Support cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures during every third weekly call rotation (Monday to Monday).
- Provide reliable coverage and support for daily staffing demands on multiple service lines during weeks without specialized cases.
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and surgical efficiency.
- Maintain strict adherence to operating room protocols, including sterilization and equipment preparation.
- Assist in perioperative patient care and manage instruments and supplies effectively.
Schedule:
- Two shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM per week.
- Two shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM per week.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in nursing with expertise in operating room technology.
- Ability to handle high-pressure surgical environments calmly and professionally.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills within multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility to cover rotating call schedules and variable case assignments.
