Senior Project Engineer - Erlanger, KY
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am -5pm
Pay: $110K - $150K (DOE)
Employment Type: 6-Month | Direct Hire Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead capital and process improvement projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Erlanger, KY. This position is responsible for managing all project phases — from planning and design through installation, startup, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of engineering projects
- Develop layouts, equipment specs, and cost estimates
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and contractors
- Ensure safety, compliance, and reliability in all installations
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance to improve efficiency
- Approve design changes and technical documentation
- Track expenses and report project progress to management
- Research and implement new technologies to enhance quality and reduce costs
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical or related Engineering field (BSME preferred)
- 5+ years of manufacturing project engineering experience
- Strong technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in engineering/project management software
- Excellent communication with cross-functional teams and vendors
- Ability to work in plant environments and occasional weekends as needed
