Tenth Revolution has partnered with a growing utilities metal manufacturing company to find a Manufacturing Production Supervisor. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in structural steel fabrication, strong leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement and safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily welding activities and ensure smooth operation across all bays
• Monitor and drive performance metrics including delivery timelines, weld count, quality, cycle time, and overtime
• Implement quality improvement initiatives through training and updated procedures
• Schedule work to meet production demands while maintaining high product standards
• Develop and maintain training and certification programs for welding team members
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
• Proactively identify and resolve production issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Enforce company policies and administer disciplinary actions when necessary
Required Skills and Attitudes
• Proficient in computer systems and strong verbal/written communication
• Solid understanding of basic shop mathematics
• Extensive experience in heavy structural steel fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
• Skilled in operating welding equipment effectively and safely
Education and Experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural-steel fitting
• Required certifications:
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
• Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
• Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
