Title: Maintenance Technician

Shift: Full-time; 2nd and 3rd shifts available

Salary: $30 - $35/hr. Pay is based on experience; shift differential of $2.00/hour for 2nd/3rd shifts, plus potential overtime and bonuses.

Maintenance Technician Role: Our client is looking for individuals with experience in plastic injection molding maintenance and repair to join their maintenance team. This role exists to perform complicated repairs to hydraulic and electric machines, reduce machine downtime, and improve the manufacturing process.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding machinery and related equipment

  • Complete repair of hydraulic systems, HVAC, conveyors, pneumatic circuits, electrical systems, and fixtures

  • Repair and conduct preventative maintenance on all auxiliary equipment

  • Maintain equipment operating logs and properly document activities while on duty

  • Identify maintenance concerns and assist with their resolution to reduce machine downtime

  • Move, install, and adjust fixtures, motors, and other electrical/mechanical equipment

  • Follow all safety standards and procedures according to OSHA and ANSI regulations

  • Perform problem analysis and resolution utilizing welding and fabrication skills

About You:

  • Hold a High School diploma or equivalent with excellent mechanical aptitude

  • Possess previous experience with troubleshooting, electrical, hydraulics, air compressor, and air dryer work

  • Demonstrate knowledge of Ladder Logic and PLC experience

  • Understand basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints

  • Show solid knowledge in industrial electricity, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

  • Understand National Electric Code and machine shop equipment

  • Maintain ability to work independently with minimal direction

  • Commit to working additional hours on short notice, including weekends
