About the Company:
Our client is a leading ENR-ranked, mid-sized General Contractor headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Known for its strong culture of mentorship, internal promotion, and long-term career growth, the company has a proven track record delivering complex construction projects across a variety of sectors, including Higher Education, K-12, Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial, Retail, and Multi-Family. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Superintendent to join their team, with a focus on healthcare projects.
 
Position Overview:
The Senior Superintendent will oversee and manage the construction execution of healthcare projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role is primarily office-based in Columbus, with some on-site presence required to supervise field operations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience as a Superintendent, particularly in healthcare construction.

Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities for healthcare projects</li>
<li>Lead and mentor field teams, including foremen, trade partners, and subcontractors</li>
<li>Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality to ensure successful delivery</li>
<li>Oversee subcontractor performance, contracts, and compliance with safety protocols</li>
<li>Maintain proactive communication with clients, architects, consultants, and project stakeholders</li>
<li>Resolve field-related issues and facilitate timely decision-making</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to all company safety, quality, and operational standards</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects, with significant healthcare experience</li>
<li>Proven track record managing complex healthcare builds, including renovations and ground-up facilities</li>
<li>Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Proficiency with construction management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required</li>
