POSITION DESCRIPTION DETAILS
In this role, the Electrician Apprentice will work with skilled tradesmen to install new and service existing electrical systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

 Working Conditions

<li>Hold weekly coordination meetings with subcontractor foremen / project managers to outline requirements of work completion, and other issues as may be required including but not limited to manpower, schedule, sequence of work and inspections.</li>
<li>Implement, monitor, and drive the project schedule. Notify project management team of schedule and performance issues, be proactive in anticipating potential problems that may impact project cost and schedule.</li>
<li>Provide daily reports on company provided software to include photos, manpower, activities performed, delays, JHAs, material deliveries and weather conditions.</li>
<li>Provide weekly report and four-week look ahead schedule to project management team by end of the day on Thursdays.</li>
<li>Maintain on site project files for work scopes, submittals, RFIs, bulletins, drawings logs, sketches, inspections, permits and as-built drawings.</li>
<li>Manage the Company Safety program as outlined in the Company Safety manual, and provide incident and accident reports as required. Ensure subcontractor compliance with all jobsite safety requirements and maintain a clean jobsite.</li>
<li>Initiate RFIs to project manager addressing issues with interpretation of plans and specifications, missing information, incorrect details, incomplete information, and other issues that require the direction of the Architect and Engineer.</li>
<li>Responsible for coordination and scheduling of inspections with local officials having jurisdiction over the project.</li>
<li>Responsible for quality control in monitoring the work and its adherence to the construction documents, and project requirements.</li>
<li>Maintain a good cooperative relationship with project management team, subcontractors, vendors, architect, engineers, local officials and client.</li>
<li>Perform material inventory / audit of all company, subcontractor and owner supplied materials.</li>
<li>Work with project management team and appropriate subcontractors to coordinate, schedule and otherwise manage the various utility companies for any utility relocations, and/ or new service required for the project.</li>
<li>Proactively identify and rectify potential punch list items. Once formal punch list is issued, it is the superintendents responsibility to hold subcontractors accountable for completion of punch list in a timely manner.</li>

<li>Follow blueprints, construction documents, and specifications to determine location of wiring or equipment.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and repair defective wiring and equipment using various instruments.</li>
<li>Wire panels and devices using various tools.</li>
<li>Assist in the layout of electrical wiring or fixtures.</li>
<li>Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures and advise leadership on hazards.</li>
