Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

<li>5-15+ years of experience in data center construction, design, commissioning, or MEP engineering</li>

<li>Strong understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, Boilers, Chillers, Generators, UPS, Switchgear, Electrical Power Distribution)</li>

Join our growing team as an Assistant Project Engineer and assist the project team in the planning and execution of successful mass excavating and construction projects! 
 
This position is continuously open because are always looking for talented Assistant Project Engineers in various locations and departments within our company. 
Primary Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assists in the preparation of work orders, schedules, drawings, field measurements, subcontracts and supplier agreements</li>
<li>Attends preconstruction meetings, assisting in preparing a list of action items and proposed solutions</li>
<li>Provides support to the Project Manager, Project Superintendent and Contract Administrator in preparing job documents and materials</li>
<li>Analyzes processes, assists with layout, construction sequencing, cost analysis, measures quantities, supporting field employees, clarifying specifications, as necessary</li>
<li>Ensure proper document control, quality assurance documentation and construction project records are kept in accordance with expectations</li>
<li>Assist in monitoring the project site, ensuring that the work is progressing on schedule</li>
<li>Develops solid working relationships with all project personnel</li>
<li>Any other responsibilities as assigned</li>
</ul>
 
Knowledge &amp; Skills
<ul>
<li>Able to read and comprehend contract documents and construction plans</li>
<li>Solid general math skills with the ability to complete field calculations</li>
<li>MS Office experience</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communications</li>
<li>Accuracy and attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with customers and employees at all levels</li>
<li>Ability to act in a safe manner always</li>
</ul>

<li>High level of motivation, a self-starter</li>
</ul>
 
Education
<ul>
<li>Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent field experience required</li>
<li>Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred</li>
</ul>
 
Travel
Overnight travel and shift work may be assigned based on business needs.

A privately owned company focused on the delivery, management, and cost control of public and private architectural and engineering building projects is seeking a Construction Engineer with prior ODOT experience. 
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Has responsibility for managing, organizing &amp; executing engineering projects.</li>
<li>Attend project and planning meetings.</li>
<li>Deal directly with permitting, zoning, planning, and other officials on project issues.</li>
<li>Assume significant responsibility for meeting schedule, budget and quality goals.</li>
<li>Client contact.</li>
</ul>
This is an upper-level management position that requires professionalism.
 
Education:
BS Civil Engineering
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>2-4 years’ experience in civil engineering</li>
<li>ODOT experience preferred</li>
<li>Self-motivated and able to work independently or with teams</li>
<li>Good written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>LPA program experience is a plus</li>
