Electrical Engineer job responsibilities include:

Knowledge &amp; Skill Requirements: &nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;A proven track record in processing, programming and setup of CNC machines.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to adjust tools and other machine components, adjust the position of work piece or material, set controls, and verify accuracy of machine capabilities, properties of materials, and shop practices.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Must be able to use tools, equipment, and work aids, such as precision gauges and measuring instruments to determine the quality of a part or program. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Demonstrated competency in various materials, tooling and processes. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Have excellent mechanical and problem-solving skills. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, team environment. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Must be able to gather information on job processes and report back to management with process improvements. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Must possess strong math skills in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Must possess advanced manual programming and advanced blueprint reading skills, including GD&amp;T. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Technical School certificate/degree preferred. Job Description
As an R&amp;D Machinist/Tool and Die Maker, you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce extrusion tooling, blow molds and blow molding tooling, precision parts and other instruments in the Medina Packaging Development Center. You may also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools, quality equipment, production tooling, and apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

You Will

CNC program editing required, program creation required using MasterCam
</li>

Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts.
</li>
</ul>
<ul>

Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and measuring instruments.
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on metal stock for machining.
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Sets up and operates machine tools such as manual lathes, milling machines and grinders, to machine parts, and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications. CNC Milling machines like the Haas, Fadal, Hermle and DMU as well as CNC Lathes like the Haas, Okuma Howa and Mori Seiki.
</li>
</ul>

Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process, making adjustments as necessary.
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers, indicators, gauge blocks, Starrett CMM machine, Mitutoyo Quick Scope and Optical Comparator.
</li>
</ul>

You Have
<ul>
<li>
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent with 3+ years working experience; Journeyman’s or equivalent preferred.
</li>
<li>
Should have good communication skills; be detail-oriented, adaptable, cooperative and able to work as part of a team.
</li>
<li>
Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment a plus
</li>
</ul>
