Electrical Engineer job responsibilities include:

This includes inspection of failed components, performing part replacements, and thoroughly documenting all work in compliance with established procedures. This role combines hands-on manufacturing, autopsy, and repair skills with accurate computer-based record-keeping, ensuring traceability and adhere to quality standards.

Responsibilities:

<li>Perform disassembly, repair, and reassembly of High-voltage (HV) battery packs and modules in accordance with approved work instructions and safety protocols.</li>
<li>Diagnose errors or technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.</li>
<li>Perform root cause analysis on failed components using appropriate equipment, perform part replacements, and verify compliance through inspections and testing.</li>
<li>Review and produce scrap reports, ensure accuracy, and provide feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives. </li>

Position Summary We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op to join our Product/Tool Engineering team. This role provides hands-on experience in an engineering environment, bridging classroom learning with real-world applications. You will support the engineering team on a variety of projects, gaining exposure to design, testing, manufacturing processes, and product improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Design:
<ul>
<li>Assist engineering staff in modeling components in SolidWorks and creating engineering drawings.</li>
<li>Support completion of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for sustaining engineering and new product development.</li>
<li>Apply classroom research and calculation methods to validate designs.</li>
</ul>
Testing:
<ul>
<li>Learn and apply testing processes and procedures to support engineering projects and quality improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Oversee testing in process, maintain detailed logs, and document progress with photos.</li>
<li>Write thorough test requests and detailed test reports.</li>
</ul>
Voice of Customer (Recon):
<ul>
<li>Work with the recon team to diagnose returned product failures, identify root causes, and repair products when applicable.</li>
</ul>
Manufacturing Process Knowledge:
<ul>
<li>Research one or two manufacturing processes (e.g., investment casting, stamping, anodizing) and present findings to the engineering team.</li>
</ul>
Feedback:
<ul>
<li>Provide feedback on the co-op program for continuous improvement.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program or related field.</li>
<li>Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software preferred.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt.</li>
</ul>

MISTRAS Group is seeking full time and temporary Level II PAUT Technicians for work in Louisville, KY.
Applicants must be able to provide the following Documents:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma/GED/Degree</li>
<li>Proof of classroom hours/Training in NDT</li>
<li>Previous level II certifications/OJT</li>
</ul>
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
<ul>
<li>Set up and calibrate equipment.</li>
<li>Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).</li>
<li>Interpret, evaluate and document results.</li>
<li>Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I personnel.</li>
<li>Must be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the employer.</li>
<li>Work with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Obtain and analyze information skillfully. </li>
<li>Edit and present numerical data effectively.</li>
</ul>
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
<ul>
<li>High School graduate or equivalent required.</li>
<li>Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for one or all of the following is required: RT and UT; MT and/or PT (preferred)</li>
<li>Current TWIC Card or eligibility to get approved</li>
<li>Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one (1) year experience or prior certification as an NDE Level I technician with adequate field experience hours to certify to Level II per SNT-TC1A standards on all or one (1) of the following is required; UT, RT, MT or PT.</li>
<li>Industrial Radiographers Certification Card preferred. (Required for all hired as a Radiographer).</li>
<li>Completion of an eighty (80) hour Radiation Safety Course preferred (Level I &amp; Level II). (Required for all hired as a Radiographer).</li>
