What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.</li>
<li>Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.</li>
<li>Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial facility and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and reporting findings to the appropriate personnel.</li>
<li>Help to deter unauthorized activity or access by maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence during patrols and assigned duties.</li>
<li>Monitor entry and exit points to support security-related procedures and verify identification or credentials as required by site policies.</li>
<li>Complete logs and reports accurately, documenting incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with site personnel and other Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment within the facility.</li>
<li>Remain alert to any changes in the environment and communicate promptly with supervisors or emergency services if needed.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Requirements:
<ul>
<li>A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.</li>
<li>Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.</li>
<li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.</li>

Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol

Job Description
General
Security Staff Members shall take a sincere interest in the health, safety, and welfare of all who enter upon The Property and shall pro-actively execute their duties to protect all persons on the property, their possessions, and the common elements of the property. The Security Department Members work at the direction of the General Manager and Assistant Building Manager. The various shifts within the department are scheduled for the following hours:

<li>Security #1: 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM on Monday - Friday</li>
</ul>
Security #2: 12:00AM to 8:00 AM on Monday - Friday
<ul>
<li>Security #3: 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM on Saturday &amp; Sunday</li>
</ul>
Security #4: 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM on Saturday &amp; Sunday
It is the intent of building Management to develop a shared scheduled that will permit Security Staff Members to attain a reasonable work/life balance around the shifts that are required by the facility.
Specific Work Duties
<ul>
<li>Conduct watchperson rounds as directed.</li>
<li>Perform Common Area surveillance on both the interior and exterior of the facility on a schedule as dictated by building Management.</li>
<li>Endeavor to develop and maintain positive interactional relationships with unit owners, residents, and guests.</li>
<li>Enforce condominium policies and rules and regulations.</li>
<li>Cover breaks, sick time, vacations, and other absences at reception desk.</li>
<li>Investigate water leaks, respond accordingly, initiate leak logs and maintenance calls/support.</li>
<li>Investigate noise complaints, respond accordingly.</li>
<li>Address and engage residents and guests who may be unruly or in violation of building policy in a professional manner while maintaining a calm demeanor. Learn and display basic judgment for need to escalate and involve local authorities when needed.</li>
<li>Assist local fire, police, and other emergency responders when they are called to facility.</li>
<li>Log all pertinent incidents, rule infractions, observations, and security breaches in daily report logs.</li>
<li>Address and clean hazardous or unsightly spills/incidents in common areas.</li>
<li>Learn, understand, and execute all emergency procedures.</li>
<li>Monitor cameras as directed.</li>
<li>Assist in daily handling of package deliveries and pick up by residents.</li>
<li>Perform daily pool inspections, water testing, and basic pool cleanings.</li>
<li>Execute snow removal, shoveling, and salt application as needed and directed.</li>
</ul>
Special Projects/Assignments
From time to time, Management may issue directives which are outside the parameters noted above. All employees shall work at the Direction of Management without limitation. Special projects for the Security Staff may include but not be limited to:
<ul>
<li>Bicycle Registrations</li>
<li>Vehicle Registrations/Investigation</li>
<li>Inspection of Lighting/Irrigation Systems</li>
<li>Assist management to implement parking/building restrictions relating to construction projects.</li>
</ul>
Methods
The methods of execution of any given duty may be through oral instruction or written procedure. Written procedures, where they exist, shall be followed unless other verbal instruction is issued. Verbal instruction, when provided, will be followed.
