Shift Manager

Job DescriptionAs part of the Subway® Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:&nbsp;

<li>Providing an excellent guest experience</li>
<li>Ensuring that great food is prepared &amp; served</li>
<li>Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful</li>

<li>Scheduling and supervising staff</li>

 In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:
<ul>
<li>Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities</li>
<li>Scheduling and supervising staff</li>
<li>Practicing inventory control standards</li>
<li>Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift</li>
<li>Completing paperwork as needed</li>
</ul>

 PREREQUISITESEducation: High school diploma or equivalentExperience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCommunication and organizational skills&nbsp; Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally. *You will receive training on your roles and responsibilities Full Time/Part Time and Day/Evening/Weekend Shift positions vary by location
