Our team is growing! HealthFitness is hiring full-time and part-time Lifeguards at our corporate client sites in Anna, Ohio (25 miles S of Lima) and Marysville, OH (40 miles NW of Columbus). Facility Hours of Operation&nbsp;
Anna, OH: M-F 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Sat 10am -3pm
Marysville, OH: M-F 5am-6pm, Sat 10am-3pm
Key Accountabilities
<ul>
<li>Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.</li>
<li>Enforce and explain rules as necessary.</li>
<li>Respond appropriately to any emergency.</li>
<li>Perform chemical testing and documents results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.</li>
<li>Attend all required staff meetings and training.</li>
<li>Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.</li>
<li>Maintain a professional attitude.</li>
<li>Other duties as needed/assigned.</li>
</ul>
 Minimum Requirements
<ul>
<li>Must be at least 16 years old.</li>
<li>American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification. *Site may be able to provide Red Cross Lifeguard certification training at discounted rate.</li>
<li>Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.</li>
<li>Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.</li>
<li>Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.</li>
<li>Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.</li>
</ul>
&nbsp; All lifeguards are required to perform a basic lifeguard skill test consisting of:
<ul>
<li>500 yard swim.</li>
<li>Active, Passive, Submerged rescues.</li>
<li>Spinal injury management in shallow and deep water.</li>
<li>Other various techniques that were learned during the Lifeguard Training Program.</li>

Compensation:&nbsp;$14-$17/Hour.&nbsp;Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
