POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Duties
<ul>
<li>Review and monitor upcoming projects as they develop.</li>
<li>Manage and keep record of project bid dates and deliverables with the input of Director of Pre-Construction.</li>
<li>Attend monthly estimating department meetings to review upcoming projects, current projects in preconstruction stage, new and current vendor and subcontractor workload, and any other issues that may arise regarding the Estimating Department.</li>
<li>Assist in organizing and hosting subcontractor &amp; vendor meet &amp; greet opportunities.</li>
<li>Leverage outside networking opportunities to introduce &amp; acquire new subcontractors and vendors.</li>
<li>Attend client meetings with the Director of Pre-Construction, as required, to assist in pursuing possible new project leads.</li>
<li>Maintain subcontractor and vendor primary bid list.</li>

Establishing Bid
<ul>
<li>Review and analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documents.</li>
<li>Create the necessary file system on network.</li>
<li>Prioritize and organize deadlines for bids from subs/vendors and to Ownership.</li>
<li>Determine and develop the project’s general conditions.</li>
<li>Determine vendors and subcontractors for a project.</li>
<li>Set-up and attend pre-bid walk-throughs.</li>
<li>Identify all bid items.</li>
<li>Develop invitation to bid.</li>
<li>Set up and manage project on Autodesk Build (Takeoff).</li>

Project Set-Up

<li>Determine the appropriate bid divisions.</li>
<li>Obtain and distribute project bid documents.</li>
<li>Contact and communicate with vendors and subcontractors.</li>
<li>Prepare quantity take-off, preconstruction schedule, and project specific Bid Breakdown and Bid Book.</li>

Project Bidding
<ul>
<li>Review plans and specifications and request any additional information.</li>
<li>Compile addenda, bulletins and RFI information and forward to all bidders.</li>
<li>Follow up with subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers to ensure bid coverage.</li>
<li>Review and qualify submitted proposals.</li>
<li>Prepare detailed summaries of work.</li>
<li>Assemble the proposal documents.</li>
<li>Review complete bid breakdown and proposal with the Director of Pre-Construction.</li>
</ul>
Project Award and Hand-Off
<ul>
<li>Update and finalize Bid Folders and Bid Book.</li>
<li>Prepare summaries of work.</li>
<li>Facilitate the Estimator to Project Manager Handoff meeting.</li>
<li>Assist the project manager and project engineer though-out the project duration.</li>
<li>Assist with additional projects, duties, and tasks as assigned.</li>

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge Required: Thoroughknowledge of the construction industry with familiarity with building codes, laws, and regulations. Solid understanding of financial practices, accounting policies and computer related programs.
Experience Required: Three to Five (3-5) years of estimating both competitive bid projects as well as conceptual budgeting for projects within the construction industry.
Skills/Abilities: Shows the ability to have strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to coordinate, manage, and direct others. Able to operate business related computer systems and equipment, including Autodesk Construction Cloud (Build and Takeoff), Sage Estimating (Timberline software), Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu.

We're looking for a Full-Stack Developer to help lead our Magento 2 implementation across all our eCommerce properties. You’ll be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining Magento 2 stores, as well as handling data migration, third-party integrations, and UI enhancements. Experience with the Hyvä theme is a strong bonus, but not required. 
This is a strategic, hands-on role where you'll shape the future of our eCommerce infrastructure alongside a talented, fast-moving team. The ideal candidate is confident taking a design from concept through to fully functional implementation, both visually and technically.
