Position Overview
The Building Maintenance Engineer II is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all building systems within a commercial property. This position performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems. 
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Perform preventive maintenance diagnosis and repairs on all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical items such as; pumps, motors, valves, seals, gaskets, filters, piping, hot water tanks, and fan boxes.</li>
<li>Make adjusts and changes to HVAC central plant and controls and related equipment to maintain building standards, along with the operations of the building chiller plant. </li>
<li>Perform light carpentry and drywall repairs. Painting skills required.</li>

<li>Must be able to read instruction manuals, schematics, and drawings.</li>

Be responsible for directing and coordinating medical care provided by the Hospice
Assist in the development of transfer and emergency treatment policies and procedures

About You:
<ul>
<li>Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in education or related field</li>
<li>High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to properly manage confidential information</li>
<li>Able to supervise students of various ages in different school settings (playground, cafeteria, etc.)</li>
<li>Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks </li>
<li>Experience working within an urban environment</li>
