<li>Responsibly maintain supply of tools and machinery</li>
<li>Respond to emergency situations as they arise</li>
<li>Ensure that the pit, kart shop and track areas remain clean and safe</li>
<li>Assist the track crew with track operations in limited situations</li>
<li>Perform closing duties to secure the pit and track and prepare for the following day's operation</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience
<ul>
<li>Mechanical repair experience required, preferably in the golf kart, go kart, motorcycle, or Motorsports field</li>
<li>Computer Skills</li>
<li>Working knowledge of the Internet and Microsoft Office Professional.</li>
</ul>
Language Skills
<ul>
<li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and employees.</li>
<li>Mathematical Skills</li>
<li>Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of fractions and weight measurement, volume, and distance.</li>
<li>Go-Kart Technicians must have a mechanical disposition, must have a natural attention to detail, willingness to learn, self-drive, and mechanical mindedness.</li>
</ul>
