Position Summary:

Responsibilities:

<li>Lead troubleshooting investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action of product defects and generate technical reports, lessons learned and SOP documentation.</li>
<li>Perform tooling installation, adjustment, and press operation as needed on the R&amp;D pilot line. Becoming proficient in press adjustment/operation is paramount to successfully filling this role.</li>
<li>Present technical reports to communicate conclusions of trial work, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and other technical topics using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint. </li>
<li>Execute the testing and validation workstream for new systems, tooling packages, and NPD projects.</li>
<li>Participate in technical meetings for project planning, project status and reviews, brainstorming sessions and improvements to the lab and processes. </li>
<li>Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to progress projects.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of high-speed aluminum metal forming technologies, including drawing, coining, ironing and stamping. </li>
</ul>
Minimum Requirements:
Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college degree level education, engineering degree or work-related experience. 

Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.), with work experience in the metal packaging industry, either at plant or technical level with experience in high-speed metal forming technologies and experience with engineering/mechanical principles and practices. Working knowledge of high-speed metal forming technologies and experience with precision tooling/equipment and a working knowledge of GD&amp;T.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be part of the team that keeps automation projects moving. At ProAutomated, we don’t install systems, we partner with system integrators and manufacturers to ensure everything works flawlessly when it matters most.

<li>Support data center startups, performing on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.</li>
<li>Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems in industries like food and beverage.</li>
<li>Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate their systems on-site.</li>
<li>Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams to keep progress smooth and accurate.</li>
<li>Typical travel rotations follow a days on &amp; off schedule: 5 on - 2 off, 10 on – 4 off, or 14 on – 7 off. Every project brings new challenges and new locations.</li>

What We’re Looking For

<li>Must live within 50 miles of a major airport (relocation assistance available).</li>
<li>Personal vehicle within 45 days of employment (for local projects).</li>
