What You’ll Do
At Toole Design, our paid internship program is designed to give you real experience with meaningful work. Over a typical schedule of 8–12 weeks, you’ll be fully embedded in project teams alongside planners, engineers, and landscape architects—contributing to active projects from day one. Whether it’s preparing graphics for a new intersection design, analyzing pedestrian survey data, or developing materials for a public meeting, you’ll gain hands-on experience in multimodal transportation across a wide range of contexts, from roadway reconstructions and streetscapes to signature trail projects.
 
We are targeting a salary range of $20 to $24 per hour for this position. Interns generally work 40 hours per week, four days in the office with the option to work from home on Fridays.
