Triad Service Center is seeking&nbsp;a qualified Field&nbsp;Technician for service and repair of light industrial equipment in the Dayton, OH&nbsp;area. Equipment that is commonly worked on are&nbsp;floor scrubbers, sweepers, handicapped carts, checkout lanes, paint shakers and other commercial customer equipment found in large retail / industrial locations. Technicians will also install, and service grease containment units used in conjunction with deep fryers. This position would utilize a company vehicle regionally and therefore require a valid, good standing driver’s license.
The position would be primarily Monday-Friday, averaging&nbsp;40 hours a week.&nbsp;Vehicle, tablet, cell phone, PAID TRAINING provided.
Starting Pay Range:&nbsp;$18-$25.&nbsp;
Our&nbsp;Technicians Typical Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Have Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose, repair and complete both service calls and scheduled PMs on light industrial equipment is essential for our mechanics.</li>
<li>Successfully provide customer service by performing on-location preventative maintenance and repairs on customer equipment by performing job duties.</li>
<li>Visually inspects, tests, and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions. As well as dismantles machine parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.</li>
<li>Installs new or repaired parts; clean and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, belts, and other parts of machinery.</li>
<li>Staying organized by scheduling repairs and PM’s in similar locations on the same day, as time and location permits. Record keeping and reporting of work orders, parts, supplies ordering, and a daily agenda.</li>
<li>Submits daily, work orders, daily agenda/timecards, parts orders, and all required paperwork. Treats company equipment (i.e. vehicle, tools, phone, tablet, credit card, and parts) as if they were his/her own and follows PM’s guidelines on company provided vehicle. </li>

<li>Travel can be up to an average of 300 miles per day</li>
<li>The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.</li>
<li>Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.</li>
<li>Typically, Monday through Friday. Weekends and after hour work is possible provided customer is willing to pay emergency rates. On call status ends at 11 am EST on weekends and holidays</li>

To support customers with Bodor Lasers. Responsible for offering technical advice to the customers and after-sales service in the field.
&nbsp;Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Serve as the main point of contact for customers, and provide direct support for laser machines through phone, email, chat and on-site visit.</li>
<li>Assist personnel and customers with troubleshooting of the laser machine’s mechanical and electrical problems, and take appropriate action to resolve customer issues.</li>
<li>Track technical issues and incoming requests from customers.</li>
<li>Manage schedule and follow up with customers in territory to ensure customer is optimizing the use of the lasers.</li>
<li>Perform mechanical repair on laser machines at customer’s location, and ability to determine if the repair will require special resources or parts.</li>
<li>Understand layout drawings and blueprints in the installation of equipment.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain a (replacement) parts list and ensure the parts are in stock by effectively communicating with relevant customers, staff, vendors and manufacturers.</li>
<li>Identify safety issues on the machines.</li>
<li>Provide customer trainings.</li>
<li>Write and compose service reports and expense reports.</li>
<li>Perform failure mode analyses and make upgrade recommendations.</li>
<li>Assist with the final integration and commissioning of complex automation projects as needed.</li>
<li>Assist with heavy mechanical moves, such as loading/unloading of equipment onto trucks as needed.</li>
<li>Regular travel within assigned territories.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

Requirements:
&nbsp;Field Service Engineer Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in mechatronics, automation engineering, or electrical engineering from an accredited university.or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience on automated CNC machines.</li>
<li>Recent experience of installing, repairing, and diagnosing problems of automated CNC machines.</li>
<li>3+ years’ related experience on automated CNC machines or fiber laser machines.</li>
<li>Familiar with engineering software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.</li>
<li>Able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and test equipment.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Demonstrated technical writing skills</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and remote communications.</li>
<li>Proficient at working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Mandarin Chinese reading and speaking ability is a plus.</li>

Dunaway is looking to hire both **experienced **and non-experienced mechanically inclined individuals for our Field Service team working in the aluminum extrusion press repair and maintenance business. When in-between field jobs, you would work in the shop to help assemble, build, and repair equipment.
We're looking to build and expand our field team, which means we have lots of opportunity for growth and promotion!
Job duties:
<ul>
<li>Assist lead technician(s) in repair and maintenance of aluminum extrusion presses and associated equipment.</li>
</ul>
Required experience:
<ul>
<li>Must be mechanically inclined. Understand how to use basic hand tools and general understanding of how to disassemble and rebuild mechanical assemblies.</li>
</ul>
Preferred experience:
<ul>
<li>Experience as a millwright, maintenance personnel, or similar.</li>
<li>Experience with welding - primarily stick and mig.</li>

On the job training:

A new Consultant Engineer at FM will learn to engineer risk mitigation solutions from experienced mentors and a community-based work culture for the first 12-18 months.
