White Pine Innovations is seeking a Contract Manager to support the Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) at Wright-Patterson AFB (Dayton), OH. The successful candidate will be highly knowledgeable in customer experience, stakeholder engagement, and program/financial management as well as possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Job DescriptionDescription:
The Litigation Paralegal position is responsible for investigating and researching facts and preparing documents to assist and support their assigned attorney. Responsibilities include accurate management of cases and timely communication with clients and attorney.
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Case Management</li>
<li>Obtain, review, and organize medical records</li>
<li>Insurance coverage investigation</li>
<li>Prepare, calculate, and maintain damage summaries including medical expenses, lost wages, and property damage</li>
<li>Log daily mail</li>
<li>Prepare and forward medical records to insurance carriers</li>
<li>Draft correspondence necessary for case management</li>
<li>Balance verifications and assist with subrogation lien resolution</li>
<li>Prepare check requests, maintain check records, and mail checks</li>
<li>Assist attorney with settlement documentation and disbursements</li>
<li>Prepare disbursement summaries</li>
<li>Communication</li>
<li>Consistent and regular communication with clients regarding case status</li>
<li>Weekly reports</li>
<li>Monthly team meetings</li>
<li>Provide support for other team members in their absence</li>
<li>Meet/exceed goals</li>
<li>Regular, consistent, punctual attendance.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

Requirements:
Skills:

<li>Highly proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel</li>
<li>Legal practices and procedures.</li>
<li>Business practices. Standard clerical and general office administration procedures.</li>
<li>High command of English grammar, usage, punctuation, and spelling.</li>
<li>Use of computers and related software applications.</li>
<li>Research procedures.</li>
<li>Procedures for preparing legal documentation.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS

<li>High School Diploma or GED required</li>
<li>3-5 years relevant work experience required</li>
<li>Paralegal certificate required</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree preferred</li>
<li>This position is based in office, M-F</li>
