PPS is seeking a FULL TIME PERMANENT CNC Machinist for our industry-leading metal fabrication shop. This is a 1st Shift position with benefits and a highly competitive pay rate!
Responsibilities to Include:
<ul>
<li>Setup / Operate CNC Machining Center</li>
<li>Familiar with Tooling</li>
<li>Ability to pull/edit CNC programming (actual program writing not required)</li>
<li>Properly and efficiently setup vises for each scheduled job</li>
<li>Use of precision measurement instruments to hold tight tolerances</li>
<li>Follow all directions as noted on the work order</li>
<li>Ensure that all parts processed meet the customer required quality level</li>
<li>Maintain the proper housekeeping around machine</li>
<li>Follow daily production schedule</li>
<li>Complete all production paperwork for each job</li>
<li>Ensures that all completed parts and associated Travelers are moved along process</li>
</ul>
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
<ul>
<li>2-5 years of CNC machine operation experience</li>
<li>Ability to pull programming and set up vises</li>
<li>Haas experience preferred not required</li>
<li>Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Must pass drug test</li>
